Its Official

Well we returned from Avery's driving competition on Saturday and we had a message on our answering machine. I am starting back to school!!!!! I have been unemployed for over a year now and even though I am enjoying the time with Jeremiah and watching him grow we have been looking into schools we want to send him to and I need to go back to work in order to send him there. Soooooooo - I have decided on a career change and I am going back to school to prepare for that! Its exciting since I haven't been in a classroom in a long time but I am looking forward to it! I will only have to be in class one day a week for 6 hours but then I will basically be doing labs the other 4 days of the week!!! This is a career that hopefully will allow me to work out of my house so that I can be available when Jeremiah gets home from school but we are thinking that by the time I finish training I can then start working and be ready to work from home in a couple of years when he is in school. Everyone please say a prayer for us since as I said its been a long time since I have been in a classroom!

On another note Jeremiah finally got a haircut the day we left for the competition and it was a fight all the way but my hat is off to the woman who cut it - despite all his fussing and yelling he has a very nice haircut AND she told him to come back and see her again! Now if we could just get him to let us trim his fingernails and toenails......

We are working on the potty training but its been an uphill battle all the way - there are so many other things he would rather do. He will go to the potty and use it but he is just as likely to do it in his big boy pants. We have been told to take him out of training pants and put him in regular underwear - anyone have any suggestions? Please feel free to chime in!

He is growing like a weed and wants to take karate classes but they have said not until he is potty trained so we are hoping thats incentive! He is big into Woody and Buzz and Buzz has a karate chop function so hopefully classes will entice him to use the potty (I have heard girls are easier than boys and it MUST be true because everyone I know that has little girls agrees that they weren't this hard to train!). I hope we won't be packing him off for college with clothes and depends!!!!!!
